As a Roman Catholic School, our faith, values and beliefs inform and unify every aspect of school life at Our Lady of the Rosary. Our bespoke Mission Statement is central to everything we do.

Our curriculum is holistic and comprehensive - exciting and engaging for all learners and relevant to our school's context. It is broad, balanced, challenging and innovative, designed to grab children's interest and develop curiosity, resilience and engagement. Our curriculum creatively moves faith into action, putting the 'Gospel on the Street'.

Teachers deliver the statutory requirements of the Religious Education Directory (To know You more clearly), EYFS and National Curriculums with Christ at the centre. They strive to deepen children's knowledge and understanding, ensuring transferable knowledge and skills are evidenced.

Pupils have many opportunities to develop advocacy skills for change for those in greatest need in society and recognise the importance of their own role in protecting 'Our Common Home'. They are encouraged to ask big questions of purpose and meaning, raising critical and higher order thinking skills across the curriculum.

Children are encouraged to be 'Transformers of Change' and are given many opportunities to make a difference within school, locally, nationally and globally.
