Forest School

Our Lady of the Rosary's Forest Areas

Since 2018 we have developed fenced out land into bespoke Forest Areas. These include Den Building, Explore and Play, Nature Zone, a Double Zip Wire Strip and a Remembrance Garden. These bespoke areas are accessed daily by pupils at lunchtimes, after school, as well as during selected lessons, to further enhance teaching and learning experiences. The areas are used to promote the wellbeing of pupils, staff and families. 

Felix, OLOR's trained Forest Teacher delivers Forest School sessions during school time as well as after school.
